9th Annual GAR Live Hong Kong

GAR Live Hong Kong returns for its ninth edition this year, bringing together top practitioners from Hong Kong and across Asia for the full-day event. Including GAR Live favourites like the year in review and the yum cha chat, our panels will be looking at the most significant developments, rulings and new tools in the region. From practical advice for dealing with witnesses, to guidance surrounding crackdowns in financial crime enforcement, this conference will be addressing what issues are at the forefront of the field – and sitting on the desks of practitioners - today. This extends to a projection forwards: what do the next generation in IA care about, and how will this shape the practice for the future?

We are proud to announce our Ms Juliet Blanch will be co-chairing the event.

Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2019: Has the proliferation of institutional rules caused international arbitration to lose its way?

Nimble institutions race to stay ahead of the field with ever more comprehensive procedural regimes. Has the balance now tipped? Do we have too much of a good thing? How does this impact on the future development of arbitral practice and procedure? Is there an optimum position? Panellists at this HFW event will engage with this provocative topic, explore the issues and consider potential remedies.

We are proud to announce our Ms Juliet Blanch will be speaking at this event.
