Juliet Blanch is speaking on a panel about the use of experts in international arbitration. This annual conference seeks to create a highly interactive environment and lively debate among arbitrators, legal practitioners, in-house counsel and academics who wish to learn more about developments in international dispute resolution.

Juliet Blanch and Gavin Denton will be speaking at the CDR Symposium in London. Issues to be discussed will range from the future of investor-state disputes, how to manage emergency arbitrations, and will include the latest news on teh hot topics and current cases in international arbitration, as well as a look at specialist areas such as tax arbitrations, and the potential for costs orders against third party-funders.

Neil Kaplan is chairing an open discussion with the Right Hon the Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury. Lord Neuberger has held the office of the President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom since 2012, a position from which he retires this year, and has sat as a Non-Permanent Judge of the Hong kong Court of Final Appeal since 2009.

Niels Schiersing is speaking at an ICC conference in Reykjavík, Iceland on 7 September on the topic of "Disclosure by and Disqualification of Arbitrators in International Arbitration". 

Niels will further be addressing the topic "Always Ask Leading Questions in Cross-Examination" at a round-table event in Reykjavík on 8 September.
