  • Tribunal Secretary in Garsu Pasaulis v. The Kyrgyz Republic, a treaty-based arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules
  • Administrative Secretary to the President of the Tribunal in Komaksavia Airport Invest Ltd. v. Republic of Moldova, an investment arbitration under the SCC Rules involving a concession to operate an international airport

Joel taught international investment law and arbitration, private international law and international commercial arbitration at Uppsala University, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, between 2013 and 2019. During that same time span, Joel also taught international investment law and arbitration at Lund University, Stockholm University and the University of Copenhagen. Although no longer an academic, Joel still teaches occassionally at various universities.
